MD & CEO inaugurates J&K Bank’s revamped corporate website | KNO

Srinagar, May 20 (KNO): In a step that underscores its ongoing digital transformation journey, J&K Bank Wednesday launched its revamped corporate website – www.jkbank.com – with a renewed focus on user experience, accessibility and seamless functionality. The Bank’s Managing Director and CEO Amitava Chatterjee inaugurated the upgraded digital interface formally in presence of General Managers, DGMs and other senior officers at the Bank’s Corporate Headquarters. Meanwhile, Divisional Heads, Zonal Heads and Cluster Heads also joined the proceedings through video conferencing. Speaking on the occasion, MD & CEO Amitava Chatterjee as per a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) congratulated the team behind the successful revamp of the Bank’s website. He said, “I commend the team for curating such a beautiful and thoughtfully designed website. This launch marks a significant milestone in our digital journey as the website has been re-designed to enhance customer experience across devices, while ensuring greater accessibility and transparency.” “It reflects our commitment to remain technologically forward-looking and responsive to the evolving needs of our customers and stakeholders.” he add. Emphasizing that the platform should benefit both the Bank and its customers, MD said, “It must serve as a one-stop solution for customers - whether it's for account opening, loan journeys or accessing services that form the bedrock of our customer experience.” Further, he underlined the importance of responsive service, saying “Today’s customers expect seamless digital experiences. So, we must ensure that grievances received through the website are addressed promptly and systematically,” Earlier, General Manager (Strategy & IT) Imtiyaz Ahmad Bhat gave a detailed overview of the new website and highlighted its key features. He stated, “The revamped website is fully compliant with regulatory requirements and has been designed to reinforce the Bank’s corporate identity while offering geo-tagged locations of our branches and ATMs. Along with enhanced navigation features, it includes a comprehensive Investor Relations Dashboard to serve our investors, provides complete product-related information for customers and has an improved feedback management system to better serve customer queries and grievances.” On the occasion, AGM Khavar Mehraj gave a presentation outlining the structure, design and enhanced functionalities of the website. To keep website useful and in relevant state, workflow based content updation/publishing has been incorporated in the revamped website—(KNO)
